I’m lucky to have a handful of diverse experiences coming to IDG, including researching stocks on Wall Street (at Goldman Sachs in London), and working in an incubator for early-stage entrepreneurs in the Global South. Through these roles, I gained a sense of perspective, a proactive mindset, and skills that have carried over to my work today.
What is your favorite video game? Why?
TowerMadness was a big childhood memory for me. Nowadays I’m still a believer in smart, fun games that you can carry around like Hearthstone and Wild Rift.
What is your role at IDG?
I focus on our EMEA consulting business, partnering with gaming developers, publishers, investors and other stakeholders in the region to help them achieve their goals. In recent months I’ve also branched out to projects involving Asia and US-based clients, working closely with the broader IDG team.
What is your background/experience in the games industry?
I joined IDG last summer. Before that I spent a year at Goldman analyzing European consumer companies (and it’s interesting to observe the parallels between these two sectors). Every day I’m learning and growing and discovering the many nuances, dynamics, and opportunities that exist in the market.
